Sometimes, despite our best efforts, our ability to grow in the direction of a more thriving and vibrant life is hampered by painful emotions or old patterns we just can't seem to shake. We might find ourselves stuck, lost, overwhelmed, or detached, whether due to life circumstances or factors we cannot immediately identify. I see therapy as a way to address these sorts of challenges by co-creating a space for greater understanding and appreciation of each client’s emotional life. Through this process, I aim to help my clients access a greater degree of freedom within themselves and with others.
As a therapist specializing in psychodynamic therapy, I am dedicated to developing a rich and unique therapeutic relationship with each client. I believe that creating and working within this context allows for genuine growth. I encourage my clients to explore the full range of their experiences and their sense of themselves and their relationships.
My approach centers around attunement with my clients’ feelings. I am also interested in how we are all shaped by social and cultural forces. Entering therapy can be frightening and difficult.
