Before going into private practice, I was a Clinical Manager at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC. After the September 11th attacks, I was retained by major corporations to provide counseling to employees suffering from trauma. In 1993, I co-founded the NYC Balkan Rape Crisis Task Force and traveled to Croatia to provide assistance to war survivors. In addition to my work experience, I have extensive post-graduate training... I have a Certificate from the Women's Therapy Centre Institute in Eating and Body Image Problems and from the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

I use art, mindfulness, and meditation to help clients gain a deeper awareness into themselves and to facilitate a process of growth to help individuals become better versions of themselves. I work together with each client to set goals and set each individual up for success. As art can be sometimes intimidating I remind my clients that the art is there as their guide to help them go deeper and connect to themselves. Hello, I am a clinical psychologist with more than 17 years of experience providing psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, and interpersonal difficulties. I received my Masters in Education from Harvard University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and ethnicities into my practice, and use an interpersonal and eclectic approach to facilitate an exploration of issues causing on-going worry and/or distress.
