I am passionate about helping those who: struggle with addictive behavior, love someone who struggles with addictive behavior, don't identify with a specific addiction but find themselves in survival mode or generally unhappy in life and relationships, or, have worked through a lot of issues but want to take things to the next level and infuse more well-being into their life. I also love working with couples facing challenges related to recovery, communication and/or boundary issues. This is particularly helpful for couples seeking recovery and repair from sexual addiction or betrayal.
I have a Master's degree in Psychology and post-Master's education in Counseling. I am a Board Certified Life & Addiction Recovery Coach, Certified Positive Psychology (Well-Being) Practitioner, and Certified Resilience Trainer, and I infuse a unique blend of these aspects into my work with clients.
I believe in the power of story and relating on a personal level with clients. I have 10 years of personal recovery experience as an individual and a partner, so my approach includes tools that I have applied to my own life and offers a unique ability to connect authentically.

Twist on the 12 Steps (T12)
T12 is a 'wellness' version of the traditional twelve steps of recovery. This program runs for 12 weeks and includes the latest research, tools and techniques for building wellness and flourishing. This is designed to foster thriving beyond surviving in recovery. Participants receive a workbook and experience individual and group exercises as well as self-assessments to come away with a new perspective and new approaches to resilience. The approach is based on the PERMA-V model for well-being, based on research; Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, Achievement, & Vitality. 12-Step experience is not required!
