In my practice, I look to build a strong and trusting rapport with clients. We are then able to work together on identifying potential sources of life stressors as well as strengths. In exploring these areas, clients are then able to identify and modify previous patterns of behavior in order to achieve their full potential personally, academically, and/or vocationally.
Having served as the Coordinator for an adolescent substance abuse program, I am knowledgeable in working with individuals struggling with the emotional impact of substance abuse as well as the difficulties surrounding maintaining one's recovery. I also have considerable experience working with the loved ones of those struggling with substance abuse.
Please, feel free to reach out to me to see if I feel like a good fit for your needs.
