An area of focus in my practice is working with parents, couples and families in times of adjustment and transition, particularly in the early years of parenthood. Parenthood can be very demanding especially when you're trying to maintain a career and relationships with your partner, family and friends. I work with clients to give them communication tools and self-care strategies as well as increasing self-awareness and personal insight.

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I am also certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing). My theoretical orientation is attachment focused, and I frequently employ the use of EMDR. I work with folks of all ages. EMDR is a psychotherapy technique that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences. EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. Using the protocols and procedures learned in EMDR, clinicians help clients activate their natural healing processes.

I hold the therapeutic relationship as sacred, a safe space for self-exploration and self-discovery. I feel passionate about this work, in being a witness and guide, as my clients sort through life's many challenges and major life decisions.
