Adjustments, stress, dis-order, and dis-ease occur throughout our lifetime requiring our attention. My therapeutic style is informed from experience & education, and influenced through holistic (whole person) & clinical systems. Today, our community and personal lives are overwhelmed by chronic stress of information bombardment, employment & financial concerns, safety for ourselves & family, and concerns for community & country. Anxiety is amplified by excessive stress, and those feelings once under control may now need reinforcement. Mental health check-ups reassure perceptions are adaptable, and hope for tomorrow a reality.
Children rely on instincts and external cues to navigate their system experiences, shaping their perceptions which inform how they think, feel, and develop. I balance lifespan experiences & perceptions using transparent & direct communication, remaining mindful of purpose, goals, strengths, biases, while blending therapeutic techniques.
Adverse Childhood Experiences effect children across their lifespan. Medical, behavior, and mental health concerns can be connected to and a direct result of ACEs. Explore perceptions, influences, and adjustments (cultural, personal, social, sexual, trauma, transitions, how you adapt); to identify how to improve areas of conflict, concern, or discomfort.
