Improved emotional health supports our whole-body wellness. My joy in psychotherapy is to accompany people from places of distress to paths of relief, positive change, expanded self-worth, and deeper bonds with the people they love. Worry, anxiety, sadness, and relationship conflict can take a toll on our immune system, confidence, productivity and connection with others. I believe all people are born noble. We all have strengths and inner capacities for growth and healing. Healing is a process--sometimes it is a quick journey, in other instances it may take more time. Therapy can be an important part of that process.
Guided by evidenced-based therapy approaches in an environment of safety, compassion, and respect, I believe people can access their resilient, healthier selves and create closer connections with others. Learning to love oneself more and how to reach for those you love can bring about powerful healing and lasting change. Know there is always help and hope.
