I believe that contact with a psychologist can be impactful in as little as one visit, and a variety of different strategies can be utilized once someone has begun developing insight. Often people are ready to make changes but can't get an appointment soon enough, or they aren't sure if they want to go to therapy but the process is intimidating and overwhelming. I created this teletherapy process to bridge that gap, to assist patients with discovering their needs while also giving the option to treat them with therapy virtually.

Life is too short to live it feeling unsatisfied, confused, depleted and or powerless. Sometimes you can manage, but other times you want to turn to someone who will provide an empathic, non-judgmental space for you to (re)connect with your deepest, most authentic self. Maybe you are in a relationship which feels stagnant, emotionally/physically disconnected or is burdened by accumulated hurts and betrayals, and you and your partner are seeking clarity, support and a new way of being either together or apart. Being skillful in relationships with others (and oneself) has become essential, and is central to our well being.

I believe that many emotional problems people experience stem from the accumulation of previously well intentioned but flawed solutions for every day difficulties. These solutions often create secondary dysfunctional issues which aggravate the original problem. This vicious cycle is particularly relevant to relationships. Unreasonable expectations of oneself and others combined with inappropriate behavior in certain situations contribute to the downward spiral. Using evidence based strategies, I coach clients to make the appropriate attitudinal, emotional and behavioral changes necessary which can result in creative and workable solutions to their difficulties resulting in lasting emotional growth and greater satisfaction with their lives.
