Room for 1 More?
Room for One More? is an 8-week therapeutic gaming program designed for queer BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals. Through collaborative games and tabletop RPGs, participants explore identity, resilience, and emotions in a supportive cohort. The program uses narrative therapy approaches, allowing members to reflect on their in-game and real-life challenges, build proactive coping strategies, and foster authentic connections. Weekly sessions include check-ins, gameplay, reflective discussions, and skill-building, all within a safe, affirming space. Reframing gaming as mindful self-care promotes relaxation, growth, and community, helping participants turn play into a powerful tool for healing and belonging.
