About
My personal and professional experience with mental health began not as a therapist, rather as an advocate for equality in the women’s health community. It is my passion for social justice that has led me to the sacred space in which I can now support others. I trust the power of acceptance and genuineness. I believe that when we are true to self, growth and healing can naturally occur.
In my work with individual clients, I incorporate my training in the evidenced-based treatment of DBT with Interpersonal, and Person-centered therapies. I work collaboratively with my clients to cultivate understanding of their own experiences, explore their identity, and feel empowered to seek meaning, value and worth in their lives.
I live by the principle of authenticity and honesty, which means I communicate in a thoughtful, direct and transparent way, while being non-judgmental, compassionate and empathetic.
