I have been working in the field of Mental Health and Addiction for 23 years. I graduated with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from CCSU. My main focus is trauma, centering on Addictions, including substance abuse, eating disorders and excessive spending, however, I am also experienced working with clients who have, depression, anxiety or trauma related symptoms. I have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults I believe strongly in recovery, use various therapeutic approaches to assist clients to live a productive and self directed life. And pets are always welcome so bring yours in.
My main focus is the individual, working with a person's strengths and experiences in order to resolve issues and work toward recovery. My therapeutic approach is very interactive, I encourage clients to explore themselves and come to a better self understanding and self awareness to enable them to live the most productive life possible.
I am experienced in relationship counseling, both with couples as well as family issues. I look forward to helping individuals who are motivated to live a healthier and more peaceful life. My availability is very limited at present so new clients may have to be wait listed.
