I'm currently accepting new clients in Johnston! My practice is centered on meeting people where they are and collaborating to identify goals and pathways for growth, whether that involves developing coping strategies, managing stress, improving communication, exploring identity and values, processing trauma, or navigating life transitions. I believe therapy should be a space where clients feel comfortable addressing whatever is most important to them. I offer individual and family therapy to children (ages 10 and up), teens, and adults and I have experience working with high-needs adolescents and their families.

I believe the foundation of effective therapy is a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship where your goals are prioritized and your values and identities are respected and affirmed. I work with clients who are struggling with a range of mental health challenges, and I have advanced training and experience in treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, and OCD. We'll work together to identify potential root causes of your current struggles (for example, past or ongoing trauma or certain patterns of thinking and behaving), develop personalized goals, and implement a plan tailored to your situation.

I’m currently accepting new clients and especially enjoy working with children and adolescents (ages 4–18). I support kids and teens who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, bullying, trauma, and autism.
My style is warm, supportive, and tailored to each child’s needs. I often use play-based techniques and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Whether it's anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, or tackling a new chapter of life, I love working with clients who are ready to understand themselves better and looking for support in their growth. I believe every person has their own unique set of patterns for tackling life and emotions, and problems often arise when these patterns are no longer serving us well. It can be difficult and frustrating to seek a better life if we do not first understand what has brought us to our current struggle or what still stands in our way. I'm here to be a listener, companion, and problem-solver while you're on that journey.

I am a therapist specializing in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), and anxiety disorders. I am incredibly passionate about helping adolescents and adults break free from the cycles of fear, avoidance, and compulsive behaviors that keep them from living the lives they want.
I believe therapy should be both compassionate and effective, and work to create a supportive environment where you'll feel understood while also being challenged to make meaningful changes in your life, accept uncertainty, and live in support of your values.

Something feels off. Perhaps you have some ideas about what’s wrong, but you aren’t sure how to feel better. Maybe you are experiencing relationship issues, or just feel like you are alone even when you know you have people who care about you. It may even be possible that you are uncertain there is anything wrong at all because you’ve always felt this way - but is it really this hard for everyone? There are many people just like you that could be living happier and healthier lives - they just don’t know how to get there.

Change can be difficult—even when you know what you want to be different. I provide therapy and psychological testing that can help people better understand themselves, find practical tools, and make meaningful changes in their lives. Most of the people I work with have concerns such as anxiety, OCD, depression, body image, academic difficulties, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. I especially enjoy working with children who are experiencing emotional/behavioral concerns and partnering with parents to better understand and support their child. I welcome clients who would like faith to be incorporated in therapy.
