In addition to the psychological issues for which people typically seek help in order to facilitate personal change and growth, during this challenging time, I will also be offering clients stress management strategies to help to cope with the anxiety and stress generated by this health crisis. I utilize a variety of cognitive-behavioral interventions as well as relaxation and mindfulness techniques. The emphasis is to help to people to establish healthier habits and more positive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Personal strengths and obstacles that affect progress towards achieving one's goals will be systematically addressed.
I incorporate elements of several approaches in working with my clients using Interpersonal, Humanistic, Cognitve-Behavioral, Life Coaching, Mindfulness, and Motivational Enhancement Therapy techniques.
