Humbly, I am Kathy Williams, Therapist, Social Worker and Advocate providing Mental Health and Substance Abuse Recovery Support to families and individuals. A graduate of Jane Adams School of Social Work at the University of Illinois, I have over 30 years of experience assisting adult men and women, adolescents and children. In my journey as a Therapist, I have provided direct care, and clinical management to private hospitals, non-for-profit agencies and in private office settings.
I am a proud Military Veteran of the United States Army. I have been privileged to work with my fellow Veterans, Active-Duty Service Men and Women and their families as a Senior Social Worker for the Department of Defense and Veteran Affairs Administration.
In every life, there will be grief, stress, and unfortunately traumatic events. However, we are more than our circumstances. I have faith that every person seeks joy, peace and balance. My goal is to assist each person in creating a rich and meaningful life while working through the pain and challenges' that life can bring.
