My experience as a licensed professional counselor prior to private practice is built around community mental health and home-based/inpatient level of care services.
Depression, anxiety, fear, anger, grief, and doubt all get in the way of maintaining direction and purpose. Strength wears out, resources are lost, hope dwindles and motivation diminishes. Maintaining a positive perspective and focus on goals are necessary in finding purpose and maintaining joy in life.
