At Inside Out Wellness and Advocacy I work with a diverse population that I hope to provide individualized care as a Mental Health Counselor that will allow individuals to develop a more complete view of self. By developing a clinical practice that works with individuals, families, and groups it is hoped that clients can develop a more inclusive view of the world around them and their place within that world. By helping these individuals to be present in the moment and to be open to the world around them it is hoped a healthier self will evolve.
I have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, the neurodivergent population, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and a wide range of other concerns. I have training in Adlerian Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting trauma therapy. I also have experiences running STEPPS groups.
In my view the roll of a therapist is to provide clients with the tools they need to draw up their own blueprints and build the house they call their own. It is not a therapists job to tell an individual how to live their life. Instead a therapist helps us explore our life and build the future we want.
