These include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which can help with different kinds of problems and degrees of suffering.
WHAT TO EXPECT : The first sessions involve getting to know each other, listing problem(s), setting goals, and creating a treatment plan to reach those goals. Then, CBT involves a limited number of sessions on learning how your thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors interfere with goals, and capitalizing on your strengths to overcome these challenges.
