The majority of my clients come to me with symptoms that respond well to LENS Neurofeedback therapy. LENS has been extremely effective for treating Anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Depression and symptoms of Concussion such as feelings of Overwhelm, Brain Fog, Explosiveness. Substance abuse treatment is the second most common reason clients come to me. I offer support and direction for my client's transition to a clean and sober life from the prospective of someone who has been successful in his own recovery for over 20 years. LENS Neurofeedback is also increasingly being used in addictions treatment as it improves motivation and self-esteem.
LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System) returns the brain to a natural, healthy state of flexibility often diminished do to head trauma, emotional trauma, or even an accumulation of life stress. Clients are not required to take, do, or feel anything; and treatments only take minutes. A course of treatment is 8 to 12 visits and results are usually permanent.
Anxiety is a common side effect of head injury. However, it is often forgotten head trauma that leads to a person’s anxiousness months and even years after an injury. A racing mind that makes it difficult to sleep, or anxiousness that seems to be getting worse over time can be the result of injury from the past. Results are often quick and life changing.
