About
I enjoy working with persons of all ages, on a variety of topics. My work includes individual, couples, consensual non-monogamous relationships and families. I am part of the queer community and work extensively with issues involving the LGBTQ+ community. Another area of interest in my work has been with perpetrators of sexual abuse/assault and persons struggling with addiction issues (i.e. food, alcohol, drugs, pornography). I have lived abroad and enjoy working with persons from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds now residing in the US.
My work is heavily influenced from a psychodynamic perspective, as well as systems, and solution-focused. In our work together, we will investigate patterns from your childhood and the role they play now, discuss your dreams, and make sense of your relationships, and how you see and experience the world around you.
Encouragement is a key for improving ourselves and our relationships. It is something that is lifelong; children need encouragement to grow and prosper, relationships need encouragement to mature and deepen, and yet, many of us struggle with feeling encouraged. I would like the opportunity to encourage you to be the best you there is.
