I work with clients who struggle with a broad range of issues that inhibit intimacy in relationships, satisfaction in the workplace as well as a sense of meaning and fulfillment in life. Having trained in both the individual analytic model as well as family systems I view therapy as a collaborative process between therapist and client intending on meeting agreed upon goals. My style is interpersonal and believe that goals are met in the context of a therapeutic relationship based on empathy, insight and trust.
We live in a culture where people struggle to find intimacy in relationships while simultaneously feeling cut off from a genuine sense of self. Therapy provides a safe space where people can become aware of and heal from past injury, integrate a stronger sense of self and move forward towards a more open future.
