Hello, my name is Bill DeFelice. I am a masters degreed level mental health therapist in the state of Ohio. I am licensed with my LPCCS. A secondary license that I have is an LICDC-CS. This enables me to treat clients who may be addicted to drugs. My focus areas of counseling are Mood Disorders(Depression, and Bi-Polar disorder), Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Family Counseling, Relationship Counseling and ADHD. My approach to counseling is to use the CBT approach. This is simply pointing out errors in thinking to a client and helping him/her develop rational and replacement thoughts.
I feel that everyone is redeemable. As stated above, I follow the CBT process to point out flaws in thinking as well as contradictions in behavior. This may have some client-centered therapy involved as well. It simply means for at least one session, we focus more on feelings instead of thoughts and behaviors.
