William Berry, LMHC, CAP, Counselor in Plantation
I believe all of the struggles people face come down to existential issues and the desire to lead a more fulfilling and happy life. I believe people have what it takes to free themselves from their struggles within. A therapist should be someone who can help remove the obstacles that block self-fulfillment. I believe therapy is an excellent path to self-actualization. I have worked in the helping profession for over 25 years. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Florida International University, am a state Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and a Certified Addiction Professional.
I work with people suffering with a multitude of disorders, including depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders, as well as substance use issues. I can provide individual, couples, or family therapy. In addition to conducting therapy I am an adjunct professor and teach psychology courses at Florida International University.
I work out of an office in Plantation and also do home visits for those that prefer. I believe one of the most important factors in therapy is feeling comfortable with your therapist. If you'd like to know more, please feel free to call or check out my website.
