I want to meet all my clients right where they are. I strive to welcome you as you are into my practice and will work diligently to understand your cares and concerns. Together, I am confident we can uncover the basis of your difficulties and work to help you better deal with them and whatever else may come your way. I am open to working with clients with a wide variety of issues, but I particularly enjoys working with individuals experiencing anxiety and/or depression, those experiencing grief and loss, and providing premarital counseling to couples.
As a pastoral counselor, I am willing to discuss faith-related issues. My faith tradition is Christian, but I welcome people of all faiths. Everyone, those of strong faith, questioning faith, or no faith at all and those who may have been hurt by organized religion or prefer to consider themselves spiritual but not religions are welcome in my office.
I have recently discovered a passion for helping people grieve. We all experience loss, but many of us fail to properly grieve. Grief is often associated with the death of a loved one, but it can also be related to missed opportunities, being passed over for a promotion, or losing a job. I consider myself an affirming ally to the LGBTQ+ community.
