Willed by Wellness, founded by Dr. Courtney Williams to be liberation & care centric of Black womxn & girls, while offering culturally-responsive services & resources for BIPOC folx at large. Our clients are 13 & older. Clients work w/ us to navigate relationship concerns, mood disorders, grief, trauma, role transitions, etv. We offer organizational consulting services & trainings to companies who work with BIPOC populations. Dr. Williams is PsyPact approved, providing telehealth services in 31+ states, & offers wellness coaching & style coaching. We are looking for fully licensed therapists to join our team! At WBW, our approach to therapy & coaching with clients is culturally-responsive trauma-informed. We incorporate techniques from various theories to adjust to clients' individual needs. The primary approaches used are feminist, relational, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy approaches.
It has been our experience, as Black womxn/girls, that we are taught to be strong, independent, and stoic. However, this practice is not sustainable.
