Apologies! I am currently only accepting new consultation/supervision/training folks.
I work mostly with folks affected by pretty extreme experiences - physical and sexual abuse, trafficking & CP, combat, domestic violence, and so forth. A lot of the folks I see have been through multiple therapists and multiple treatment facilities. This is often because having extreme experiences creates some extreme reactions - eating disorders, substance use/abuse, chronic physical pain, sleeping problems, etc. I also often work with folks who haven't had good experiences in therapy or the like.
I work mostly from a cause / effect perspective - messed up experiences mess people up. I use a lot of body-centered therapies (like Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, DBR, and so forth) because trauma tends to affect people beneath words and thoughts. I also use a lot of Buddhist-based techniques (such as meditation and mindfulness).

Groups
Complex Trauma Support Group
Nobody is looking for help because they experience too much support and kindness in life. People - especially abuse survivors - are looking for help because of not enough kindness, and not enough support. This group is in-person and peer led, and the format was developed by survivors needing support, community, and above all, kindness. To ensure everyone has enough time and space, group attendance is capped at 15 people per group, so an RSVP is required. Group is no-cost, and is not professionally facilitated. This is a support group, not a therapy group.
