In addition to my work in private practice, I have experience working in the public school setting with preteens and teenagers. This experience has given me valuable insight into the unique emotional, social, academic, and developmental challenges that adolescents face. I enjoy helping people build resilience, strengthen healthy coping skills, and much more.
I believe there is a very close link between mind, body, and emotion. Understanding how our emotions and experiences have the ability to alter the way we feel, and vice versa, is crucial to improved mental health. Some interventions or coping skills I like to employ involve mindfulness, perspective shifting, and the introduction of various coping strategies.
