I'm an openly gay therapist and will as a guide/supportive presence to help you reach your goals. I believe that every person is an expert regarding their life experiences. I am also open to feedback in order to provide an adaptive counseling approach that works best for you.
My therapeutic style is Warm and Humanistic. It also reflects integrative training in LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy and CBT techniques as we discuss difficult and important topics. I also use humor when appropriate. Acknowledging that your daily life resumes at the end of our session.
Seeking therapy is a very brave step in a person's life. I greet clients warmly, compassionately, and above all else, validate your feelings throughout the counseling process.
