As a Professional Counselor I enjoy working with young adults and students in transition from high school to college and college into the working world. I work well with those who have mood issues, social adjustment difficulties, and/or neurological conditions. I have considerable experience with autism (ASD). My approach to counseling is primarily Cognitive with behavioral interventions. I incorporate physical activity with behavioral interventions and encourage regular exercise to support psychological improvement.
I specialize in autism spectrum disorder. I utilize a Cognitive approach and I see patients with problems such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other developmental disorders. I offer a limited range of assessments to establish or confirm a diagnosis.
In addition to Cognitive and Behavioral techniques, I utilize various Christian Counseling approaches for clients who request this service. I have considerable expertise in diagnostic testing and assessment.
