I have been in private practice since 2009 in Georgia. I work well with students and young adults who have a variety of mood, social, and/or neurological issues. I have considerable experience with autism (ASD). My approach to counseling is primarily Cognitive with behavioral interventions. I incorporate physical activity with behavioral interventions and encourage regular exercise to support psychological improvement.
I specialize in autism spectrum disorder. I utilize a family approach and I see patients with problems such as ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other developmental disorders. I offer a limited range of assessments to establish or confirm a diagnosis.
In addition to Cognitive and Behavioral techniques, I utilize various Christian Counseling approaches for clients who request this service. My work with individuals with developmental disabilities may include innovative techniques including Lego Therapy to create a sense of shared responsibility in counseling.
