I specialize in general mental health, LGBTQ+ mental health, concerns of gender & sexuality, mood disorders, and trauma. My specialty and training have grown from 6 years of experience serving our LGBTQ+ community in combination with my own lived experience. Effective therapy needs to be accessible, individualized, mindfulness-based and solution-focused. I work creatively with each of my clients to provide them a truly meaningful experience in therapy.
My approach solution-focused, evidenced-based, and grounded in mindfulness. I use Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Behavioral Therapies (CBT & DBT). I guide folks to identify their authentic values and use them to forge their path toward a greater quality of life. I help folks learn to love the life they live & live the life the life they love.
Throughout our lives we ALL will find ourselves stuck at times, even suffering. It's not a punishment; in fact, these painful bits are part of a life lived fully.
