My focus is on helping clients adjust to life changes, integrating pain and trauma and managing stressors. Everyone handles life experiences and situations different and we often aren't prepared to effectively handle the emotional consequences. Whether your pain has been the result of adverse experiences over a lengthy period of time or a more recent experience you deserve to take the time and explore what counseling has to offer you. I use a collaborative approach to therapy with an emphasis on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

I am here to help you grow into a happier, healthier person, and I want you to look forward to coming to therapy. Many of my specialty areas relate to anxiety including social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, OCD, trich, and tics. I am one of only a few clinicians in the area certified to treat OCD. I also work with the LGBTQ+ population and provide support before, during, and after gender-affirming transition. I love working with couples, adults, and adolescents and with women before, during, and after pregnancy to address their unique mental health needs (pre and postpartum depression, OCD, and anxiety).
