I’m a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive expertise in specialized trauma treatment, OCD, complex clinical presentations, and the often-overlooked forms of anxiety that extend far beyond generalized anxiety.
My work blends creativity, science, compassion, safety, humor, and curiosity. Healing is not sailing back into every storm. Therapy is a journey of learning to trust your compass, finding your bearings, and navigating forward. I may help steady the ship, but we chart the course together—toward a life that feels anchored, meaningful, and truly worth living.

Life can feel messy — especially when an experience leaves you bewildered, overwhelmed, or simply going through the motions rather than truly living. In those moments, having the right support can make all the difference. My practice offers a space where you are fully heard, where we can slow down together, and where clarity has room to emerge. I administer a range of evaluations including cognitive and IQ testing, ADHD diagnostics, and pre-surgical psychological assessments that go beyond a simple diagnosis.

Going to therapy requires a certain level of courage and openness. I'm ready to hear you, see you, and hold space for you. My clients bring their stressors and triggers to work through in session. Together we work on building self-awareness (what is your felt sense or physical sensations), re-framing automatic negative thoughts (cognitive re-structuring), defusing from old narratives/schemas/beliefs, and carve a path towards a more confident/peaceful/content future.
Tools that may be used in session include mindfulness, CBT, DBT, Brainspotting, visualization, Gottman Method (couples), progressive muscle relaxation, & breathwork.

After establishing a trusting relationship with my clients, I work towards identifying their issues followed by setting mutually-agreed upon attainable goals; one step at a time. I personally believe that the success gained by smaller increments builds confidence which eventually motivates us to achieve more. My clients set the pace; determining just how quickly or slowly they want to proceed. While some only need a few sessions a month, others prefer a more frequent schedule. As a tele-therapy provider I offer the security of a private, confidential “office” with the ease of “meeting” you anywhere at times convenient to you.

Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Therapists
How long does OCD treatment take?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is often treated on a weekly or twice-weekly schedule, depending on symptom severity and the client’s preferences. Some clients may start to see a noticeable improvement in symptoms in as little as six weeks, but it’s also possible, especially in more severe cases, for treatment to take several months to a year before significant progress is made.
What happens if OCD is not treated?
Some people with OCD, especially those with mild symptoms, may find that they are able to adapt reasonably well to life with the condition, even if their symptoms never resolve completely. However, many people, particularly those whose symptoms are severe at the outset, find that their obsessions and compulsions grow more intrusive with time, making it harder to maintain relationships, hold down a job, or navigate the world successfully.
Are there medications for OCD?
Medication can be used to treat OCD. The class of drugs most often prescribed are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, which include fluvoxamine (under the brand name Luvox), fluoxetine (Prozac), and sertraline (Zoloft), among others. In cases of treatment-resistant OCD, other classes of medication, such as tricyclic antidepressants or atypical antipsychotics, may be prescribed. Medication is frequently used in conjunction with therapy.
Can OCD come back after treatment?
Yes. Major life transitions, periods of stress, or other factors can cause symptoms to return or, if they were never fully eradicated, to ramp back up in intensity. For some, these relapses are brief and do not require additional treatment; identifying specific triggers and practicing the skills learned in therapy can help speed their course. For others, returning to therapy for a brief period can help address the underlying stress and strengthen coping mechanisms.
