You might be the one everyone turns to—at work, at home, in crisis—yet inside, you’re running on fumes. Maybe you’ve always been “the sensitive one,” or your mind never seems to turn off. You plan, analyze, and push through, but still end the day feeling anxious, depleted, or like you’re falling short. You might even know what you should do to feel better, but actually finding peace feels out of reach. Whether you’re a parent, healthcare worker, or someone moving through a major life shift, you deserve a space dedicated to you where you can slow down, untangle it all, and finally feel like yourself again.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions, and co-occurring chronic health concerns using a lifestyle medicine–informed approach. Many clients feel overwhelmed managing both mental health symptoms and physical conditions, while balancing work, relationships, and caregiving demands. Often high-functioning yet exhausted, they carry a significant mental and physical load and feel disconnected from their needs or direction. This work focuses on restoring stability by addressing the behavioral and lifestyle factors that influence overall health.

Parenting is full of joys and challenges, especially when your child’s unique needs bring extra stress to daily life. Sensory sensitivities, tantrums, or difficulties in social settings can disrupt routines and make even simple outings — like going to a restaurant or attending a party— feel impossible. For families navigating adoption, trauma, or life with a child who spent time in the NICU, these challenges can feel even more complex. Sleep disruptions, behavioral struggles, and unmet expectations can create anxiety for the whole family.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stressed or depressed and would like a renewed focus in life? It is my belief that psychotherapy can be a powerful tool to use in restoring and promoting mental health. I work collaboratively with clients to understand the concerns that brought them to therapy. Together we evaluate not only the symptoms that are causing concern but also the root causes of those symptoms with the goal of initial and continued relief. I help my clients identify what they value in life and facilitate changes that bring them closer to their values.

Maybe you’re high-functioning on the outside, but inside you feel disconnected, exhausted, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to shift.I work with individuals navigating chronic stress, burnout, and the lingering impact of trauma. Together, we make sense of what your mind and body have been carrying so you can begin to feel more regulated, present, and like yourself again.

Our closest relationships carry profound psychological significance. They can be a source of deep joy and fulfillment, and just as easily, a place of frustration, pain, and disconnection. When we enter adult partnerships or marriages, we bring not only our hopes and intentions for a loving relationship, but also the emotional residues of earlier experiences that can resurface during times of change. Life transitions, such as becoming parents, navigating midlife or career shifts, or adjusting to an empty nest, often invite couples to encounter new aspects of self and each other, at times stretching the relationship in unexpected ways

Life can get or feel messy sometimes, especially when we encounter experiences that leave us feeling bewildered, overwhelmed, or as if we're merely surviving rather than thriving. It's during these moments that the guidance of a skilled psychological professional can become invaluable. My practice offers a place where individuals are invited sit and engage in one-on-one conversations, providing time to be fully heard, explore their experiences in depth, and gain some insights.

You don’t need another place to hold it all together. You need a space where you can finally exhale. You’re high-achieving, capable, and the one others rely on; yet underneath, you’re overwhelmed, burnt out, or struggling. Maybe perfectionism keeps you pushing, even when you’re exhausted. Therapy with me goes deeper than surface-level coping so you can actually feel better, not just keep pushing through. I work with high-achieving women, therapists, and professionals who appear to have it all, while internally navigating anxiety, self-doubt, or disconnection. If traditional therapy hasn’t quite fit, you’re in the right place.

For more than two decades, I have dedicated my work as a clinical psychologist to one guiding belief – good psychotherapy can be profoundly transformative. While easing the symptoms or struggles that bring someone to treatment is important, I also help clients uncover the deeper patterns and emotions that shape their lives. By exploring not only the “what to do” about symptoms, but also the “why” behind the distress, new insights, resiliencies, and healthier was of thinking, relating, and living begin to emerge. It is through this process that our work together can create more enduring change and greater well-being.

It’s hard to show up in the world when your body, your mind, or your relationship feels like it’s working against you. Maybe fertility struggles have left you exhausted and questioning yourself. Maybe trauma keeps replaying in ways you can’t control. Maybe your partner feels like a stranger and every conversation ends in tension. Maybe you're looking around at the world with complete disbelief at how things are going. You deserve relief, clarity, and someone who gets it — not platitudes, but real support for the most messy, painful, confusing parts of your life.

You’ve tried to think your way out of it — the racing thoughts, the “what ifs,” the rituals and reassurance-seeking that help for a second but never last. You keep it together for everyone else, but inside, it feels like you’re constantly scanning for danger, replaying conversations, or trying to prevent something terrible from happening. Anxiety and OCD can be exhausting, isolating, and make you doubt your own mind. You’re not broken — your brain is trying to protect you. It’s just working way too hard, and you can't keep doing it. You're ready to heal and finally put these cycles behind you. But you need the right person to help.

FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
