Therapy is a collaborative process where I work with my clients to meet their personalized goals. I offer empathetic therapeutic care to children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families . I operate from a systemic perspective which means I take into consideration a client's family , work, school, friends, and greater community to see how these systems may be impacting current issues. I am open to new clients.

Stress and worry can take its toll on our minds and bodies. If you experience high levels of these, or feel empty at the end of the day, I will provide a safe and caring environment with which to explore the causal factors. As a professional mental health counselor, I provide services billable to insurance, or using a low-fee ($60 per hour) consulting option. Some issues I work with include: Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, ODD, Communication, Behaviors, Conflict, Relationships, Worry, Fear, Arguing, Parenting, Divorce, Affairs, Choices, Self Esteem, blended, mixed, step parent and adoptive families ; unique couples/ families . Appointments are available from the hours of 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

As Intake Specialist, I will meet with you to learn about your concerns and what you are looking for in a treatment provider, I will then match you with the best fit in therapist for your concerns. I, myself, serve a limited caseload of clients with a variety of mental health concerns, who come from diverse backgrounds, and all walks of life. I am an associate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor. My graduate degree is in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin with undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Philosophy. My approach is eclectic focusing on cognitive behavioral, existential and problem solving therapy. I has been trained in transactional analysis and enjoy working with the Christian and spiritual perspective. I have a Lay Ministry certificate in Lutheran studies. Hi. As a licensed doctoral-level psychologist in Appleton, Wisconsin, I specialize in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, body image dissatisfaction, and grief. I work primarily with individuals, but this often may include family or partner sessions. Although I have an extensive background in working with children and adolescents, currently I work only with adults.

Dr. Klim completed a little over 17 years of federal service. During her federal service, Dr. Klim saw the difficulties many veterans had navigating the Mental Health system in addition to the challenges of a rural community (travel, weather, lack of providers). She treats individuals of all ages but has a wealth of experience with military members and their family members. She sees a full range of patient issues from trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, personality disorders, marital therapy, parenting problems, and adjustment issues, and more. She believes in a holistic approach with measured outcomes.
