My approach is integrative and collaborative, drawing from person-centered, NARM, CBT, somatic, and attachment-based approaches.
Sometimes life can feel heavy or uncertain. You may be navigating life changes, a loss, or relationship or parenting challenges. You might also feel overwhelmed managing ADHD or a chronic illness. People come to therapy for many reasons, and I take a personalized approach. From the start, my goal is to help you feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I work with you to make sense of your experiences, understand what’s getting in the way, and find realistic, meaningful ways to move forward.

I offer an integrative and holistic approach to therapy, weaving together somatic therapy, person-centered therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
If you feel anxious, stuck in self-doubt, or disconnected from who you used to be after a relationship - you don't have to keep second-guessing yourself. I work with teen girls and women who are navigating the aftermath of emotionally or psychologically unhealthy relationships. You might be constantly second-guessing yourself; feeling anxious or emotionally overwhelmed; struggling with self-esteem or body image; feeling like you “lost yourself” in a relationship; or finding it hard to trust your thoughts, choices, or feelings.

You found yourself in a cycle of feeling stuck and overwhelmed while continuing to run around with a never ending list of demands; it can feel like there’s no out. Feeling unsure of what to do, but knowing there is more to life can be an exhausting place to be. This can impact not only our emotional well-being, but also our physical health if acting in a way that we’re not valuable enough to care for. You deserve to have a healthy self-relationship again, which begins to shift other areas of life into alignment.

I use a balance of somatic, mindfulness techniques to help you build a greater connection to yourself.
You are ready to feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself. You’re functioning, holding it all together, and from the outside, everything might look “fine.” But inside? It feels messy often. You know there has to be more. More ease. More clarity. More you. Maybe anxiety keeps buzzing in the background, or your boundaries blur more than you’d like. Maybe you're just tired of doing it all alone. You’ve reached a point where “fine” isn’t enough anymore—and you’re ready for something deeper. You want to be able to trust yourself, your relationships, and really enjoy the life you have worked so hard for.

I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based, and somatic-informed approaches to support healing.
You love your kids, but somewhere along the way, you lost track of yourself. Between sleepless nights and carrying the weight of everyone else’s needs, your own pain got pushed aside. Maybe it’s anxiety that hums beneath the surface or old wounds reopened by parenting. You keep showing up, but inside you’re running on empty. You want space to tend to your own needs but without the guilt. You’re ready to stop living in survival mode and start living with more presence, authenticity, and intentionality.

Accepting New Clients! You tell yourself what happened to you wasn't real, but under the busyness of life you know it was. You see it coming up in you romantic relationships-the same type of person, the same conflict, the same experience that leaves you with a feeling like there's something wrong with you. Or, maybe you see it in your family relationships-wanting them to meet your needs and always being disappointed. Or, maybe you see it coming up in those moments of lost time-your mind spinning around past hurts. No matter how the trauma may surface, you can no longer live like this.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.

Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.

Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.

What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
