Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. In a world undergoing a lot of change, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, afraid, or disconnected. As a therapist, I support people in navigating that in-between space—balancing the demands of daily life and the stressors of a changing world while making room for what feels meaningful and true.
Many of us are asking bigger questions right now: How do we live with purpose and joy during times of change? How do we find clarity, hope, and authenticity? How do we face anxiety, depression, panic, or the pull to escape—and still move toward healing, growth, and a deeper sense of self?

Therapy looks different for everyone, because everyone comes into therapy with different needs. In general, therapy works by us having lots of (often weekly, sometimes more often, just shy of an hour-long) conversations in which we get to know your mind and heart to help you find answers to what you are struggling with. To get to know you better, I will encourage you to share with me thoughts, emotions, images… everything that comes to your mind. Nothing is off limits, and the hardest or most awkward things to talk about can yield the biggest benefits.

Is there a part of you that you don’t quite understand—something that feels like it’s holding you back or leading to painful, repeating patterns in your life? You may be struggling with anxiety, depression, feeling unfulfilled, or a sense of frustration about not being able to move forward despite your best efforts.
Many people who come to therapy have tried everything they can think of to feel better. When things don’t change, it can feel discouraging or confusing. I believe these struggles often have roots in ways of thinking and relating to ourselves and others. These patterns can develop over time and we may be unaware of them.

In trying times, feeling overwhelmed is a normal human response. Many people, and those who care about them, can feel pulled in multiple directions while trying to stay grounded and connected to themselves, their values, their responsibilities, and their relationships. When ecosystems of care are stretched, fatigued, or limited, pressure often builds and begins to impact well-being and a sense of direction about what comes next. As a therapist, I offer a steady, compassionate space to pause with curiosity, make sense of what’s unfolding, and move beyond survival mode toward renewed understanding, reconnection, growth, and purpose.

If you’re feeling stuck in a cycle of chronic anxiety, dysregulated emotions, unstable relationships, or compulsive and harmful behaviors and are looking for support in creating change, I’m here for you. Clients I work with often struggle with complex trauma and have been trying their best with the tools they have. For many, the immediate solutions for their problems may have even contributed to more painful experiences down the road, such as addiction. We'll work together to build stability, safety, and develop resilience while processing what actually created the need for the unhealthy ways of coping you've had to depend on.

Men's Issues Therapists
Is therapy for men different than it is for women?
Therapeutic treatments and types are the same for men as they are for women, with the same protocols followed and the same strategies employed. Discussing one’s feelings and emotions is an integral part of most therapies, and some men find doing so more challenging. Therapists can help clients through the process; some specialize in treating men for this reason.
How do you encourage a man to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either himself or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
How can men prepare for therapy?
Men can prepare for therapy by approaching the process with an open mind, being willing to talk about their challenges, and giving treatment the time to work. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. It can be useful for men who struggle to recall their emotional states to write down notes between sessions about their response to a given event or how they were feeling at a particular time.
What should men know about the process of therapy?
One of the most common reasons men don’t seek therapy is the notion that there’s something wrong with them if they do. Men should know that just because they’re seeking therapy doesn’t mean they’re mentally ill or damaged in some way. In the same way people work on their bodies through exercise or a craft through practice, therapy can be a way to improve the mental and emotional skills needed to be productive and effective partners, employees, and people in all realms of life.
