Welcome! Clients are unique, and so is my approach! I work with folks who feel they are out of options, feel lost, burnt out, and feel their symptoms have taken over their lives. My therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual client and their needs but is always goal oriented. I have a special interest/experience in self-injury, depression, anxiety, pregnancy/postpartum issues, parenting and chronic pain/migraines with adolescents and adults.

I bring a multicultural and neurodiversity-affirming perspective, with experience supporting concerns related to relationships/relational trauma, ADHD, eating/body image concerns, and adjustment/acculturation issues.
Life is full of changes and uncertainty, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when things don’t go the way we expected. You may find yourself feeling stuck—especially when the harder you try to fix things, the more frustrated or helpless it feels. You are not alone, and certainly not broken. Often, these experiences reflect patterns shaped by our past experiences, relationships, and the expectations we’ve carried over times. In therapy, we'll work together to understand and gradually shift these patterns, reconnecting with your inner strengths and rebuilding confidence in navigating life’s ups and downs.

I work with anxiety, ADHD, deep thinkers, and those navigating life transitions.
You’re used to functioning at a high level, but lately things feel harder than they should. You might feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of overthinking or burnout, or struggling to follow through in the ways you want. From the outside, things may look like they’re working, but internally, it feels different. You don’t just want a place to vent—you want clarity, direction, and real, lasting change. I offer a space where you can feel understood and supported, while also helping you build patterns, systems, and ways of approaching life that actually work for you long term.

I enjoy working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief/loss, disordered eating, addiction, trauma, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.
I believe that the stories we carry about ourselves, our relationships, and the world shape how we live. Sometimes those stories no longer serve us, or were never ours to begin with. I see therapy as a space where you can begin to question, re-author, and reclaim those stories in ways that reflect your values, your strengths, and your most authentic self.

With over 15 years of experience, my belief is that seeking out counseling services is a brave and proactive way to improve one’s quality of life. I strive to tailor all of my clients’ therapeutic journeys to their respective individual hopes, goals and needs to leave them feeling more complete, joyful, and with a greater understanding of themselves than prior to entering therapy. I aim to create a warm, kind, inclusive and safe therapeutic space that is free of judgment and open to what the client brings to each session. I particularly enjoy working with clients through transitional periods in their life.

Over time, dozens of tiny, often imperceptible changes will add up, and you will see that important things about you have changed for the better.
Therapy looks different for everyone, because everyone comes into therapy with different needs. In general, therapy works by us having lots of (often weekly, sometimes more often, just shy of an hour-long) conversations in which we get to know your mind and heart to help you find answers to what you are struggling with. To get to know you better, I will encourage you to share with me thoughts, emotions, images… everything that comes to your mind. Nothing is off limits, and the hardest or most awkward things to talk about can yield the biggest benefits.

ADHD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for ADHD?
You should seek treatment for ADHD if you consistently have difficulty with attention, hyperactivity, or impulsivity that interferes with your daily life. Symptoms of ADHD include the inability to sustain attention during tasks, difficulty organizing tasks and activities, being easily distracted, frequent fidgeting or squirming, and talking or interrupting excessively. If these symptoms interfere with your career, academics, or relationships—for example, consistently failing to complete professional projects on time—you should seek an evaluation for ADHD.

How does treatment for ADHD work?
Effective treatment for ADHD often consists of medication, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle changes. Stimulant medications such as Adderall and Ritalin work by altering levels of neurotransmitters in the brain; higher levels of dopamine and norepinephrine are known to improve attention and focus. Therapy works by helping people with ADHD understand the condition, discuss their areas of difficulty, and develop behavioral strategies to manage their symptoms. In some cases, modifying one’s diet and exercise can also help improve symptoms.

Are there specific medications for ADHD?
Medications to treat ADHD are generally stimulants, the most common are Adderall and Ritalin. There are two categories of stimulants: Amphetamines include Adderall, Dyanavel, Vyvanse, and Dexedrine, and methylphenidates include Ritalin, Concerta, Daytrana, Focalin, Quillichew, Quillivant, and Metadate. Non-stimulants and antidepressants may be used as an alternative if stimulants aren’t effective or viable for a particular patient.

How long does treatment for ADHD take?
It’s tough to give an exact time frame because everyone varies. In terms of medications, stimulants begin to work very soon after you take them, generally within the hour. It may take time to identify the right medication and dosage, but the medication itself is fast-acting. In terms of therapy, it takes time to develop skills and put them into practice, but you will likely see improvements within a few weeks or months.
