I am glad you are here. I understand the feeling of knowing you may need to grow or change, but not knowing exactly where to start. My clients come from all identities and seek support for anxiety, burnout, trauma, depression, identity exploration, life transitions, work or school stress, and relationships. They want clarity, relief, and to trust themselves again—with support from someone who sees them as a whole person, not a diagnosis.

I pull from my training in EMDR, relational, ACT, CBT and an empathic trauma informed lens to best serve my clients.
If you’re in your figuring-it-out era — navigating transitions, dating, relationships, identity, and the pressure to have life together — you’re in the right place. I’m Bailey, a therapist who works with teens, college students, young women, and helping professionals. Therapy with me is collaborative: I hold the frame, you fill in the picture. Together we can explore life transitions, relationship patterns, identity, stress, and the expectations coming from school, work, family, and social media. With a client-centered approach, a cup of coffee and some humor, I create a space that feels real, supportive, and authentically yours.

I consider it an honor to walk alongside people as they navigate the beauty and chaos of everyday life. I am passionate about mental health in all its complexity: how it shapes lives, relationships, and communities, and how culture and environment influence a person’s overall well-being. I work especially well with children, teens, caregivers, and families to improve communication and attachment, as well as supporting those who are struggling with emotion regulation and navigating life transitions such as emerging adulthood. Together we will aim for progress, not perfection.

I am a Christian counselor. I really enjoy working with couples. Couples can be under a lot of stress and pressure and lose that enchantment with life- it becomes one big negotiation contest. I work to help couples get back to the values that connect them and the freedom that comes from becoming more understanding. I also work with individuals - especially those feeling hampered by anxiety or depression. I work to help them find ways to reverse that downward feedback loop and become more attached to their life and free from fears and burdens.

I specialize in supporting individuals navigating perinatal mental health concerns, at any stage of their journey. In addition to working broadly in perinatal mental health, my focus is supporting new moms and parents experiencing mood and anxiety disorders who also have ADHD. I recognize that the feelings of shame, anxiety, and guilt that accompany this period can feel intensified for people who are also managing ADHD. My hope is that our work together will help reframe the shame, guilt, and anxiety toward realizing the inherent strength and assets that you already have.

As a therapist, I greatly desire for my clients to know and believe that they matter and have purpose. I will always hold hope for my clients, and I truly believe that change is possible. I tend to see things through a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens and therefore love exploring what lies "underneath" to inform our behaviors, thoughts and relationships. My training and experience allows me to work with a wide range of clients from adolescents (8-18 yrs), to adults of all ages, and couples. I have found working with teenagers to be especially fun and fulfilling!

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
