I am experienced in treating a variety of mental-health-related concerns amongst adults of various ages and offer therapy to couples. I strive to always provide a non-judgmental, accepting and honest environment that allows you the ability to embrace vulnerabilities in an effort to generate change. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with disordered eating, substance use, and trauma-related experiences that may be negatively impacting your current well-being. I use an integrative therapeutic approach individualized to your aspirations and goals, often incorporating various techniques most beneficial towards growth.

Therefore, I try to connect with my clients in a casual, authentic way and create a safe environment for people to speak their truth. I believe that you are the expert on you! I will work with you to create goals that are important to you and based on your unique, individualized needs.

I enjoy working with people to create a nonjudgmental space that is tailored to their needs and goals. My view is that we are connected internally and externally in a web of different systems that impact us, and through understanding how these systems and the client are affecting one another do we get a comprehensive view of what’s going on. When appropriate and agreed upon, I will work with people in these different systems (e.g., family, loved ones, teachers, primary care providers, social workers, parole officers, etc.) to help provide continuity of care and a cohesive treatment plan.

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents through individual and family counseling. I personalize my approach to meet the individual needs of each person I work with.

Even if things look awesome on the outside, it doesn’t mean it represents what we are feeling on the inside. When you struggle with anxiety, you wear a mask on a daily basis to show the world you are a strong person. You help people when you can, you take on new roles, and you keep a smile on your face. All of this hides your fears of failure and rejection, self-doubt, and anxiety for the future.
