Choosing a therapist is tough, so here's how I differ from other therapists. I work best with people who feel stuck in patterns they understand intellectually but still can't seem to change emotionally. Many of my clients are dealing with trauma, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, chronic depression, relationship issues, or painful inner conflict. I find that combining parts work, hypnotherapy, and a depth-oriented approach helps people not only understand and relate to their issues, but provides emotional relief and self-acceptance. Together, we'll work towards inner peace, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.

I utilize an eclectic approach and believe in using evidence based treatments, tailored for each unique individual, their specific needs, and desired goals. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families who are ready and motivated toward change, however, just aren't sure how to get there. Once given the proper tools and skills, options appear and the ability to choose a better path presents itself.

Through EMDR and TF-CBT, we'll gently process past experiences, while mindfulness and somatic techniques help you feel more grounded, aware, and in control.
You crave closeness, but the moment it’s there, something in you tightens. You scan for signs, hold back parts of yourself, or wait for the other shoe to drop. Love has felt inconsistent, so even when something good shows up, your body stays guarded. That guarding can show up everywhere, overthinking texts, rereading conversations, or never fully relaxing even when nothing is wrong. You’re not “too much” or “too anxious.” Your system learned that connection wasn’t always safe. Healing from trauma doesn’t always look like tears or intense sessions—it can feel like slowly learning to trust yourself more and second-guess yourself less.

I use a balance of somatic, mindfulness techniques to help you build a greater connection to yourself.
You are ready to feel more grounded, clear, and like yourself. You’re functioning, holding it all together, and from the outside, everything might look “fine.” But inside? It feels messy often. You know there has to be more. More ease. More clarity. More you. Maybe anxiety keeps buzzing in the background, or your boundaries blur more than you’d like. Maybe you're just tired of doing it all alone. You’ve reached a point where “fine” isn’t enough anymore—and you’re ready for something deeper. You want to be able to trust yourself, your relationships, and really enjoy the life you have worked so hard for.

I draw most heavily from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Jungian Analytical Psychology, Internal Family Systems, Somatic Therapy, and Existential Theory.
I believe most problems stem from traumas of varying degrees. Awareness of how trauma impacts the mind and body allows it to be healed rather than avoided or channeled into destructive behaviors. I have experience working with trauma, eating disorders, mood disorders, addiction, personality disorders, grief and loss, and life transitions.

My work is integrative, person-centered, and grounded in mindfulness and somatic awareness.
Life can feel heavy when you’re carrying a lot—responsibilities, expectations, and emotions—often without much space to slow down or feel supported. Many of the people I work with are capable, insightful, and deeply caring, yet feel emotionally drained, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves after spending so long holding everything together. They are often high-functioning but tired of living in survival mode and ready for something steadier and more peaceful.

Somatic Therapists
How does somatic therapy work?
Somatic therapy is a form of treatment that focuses on how the body and mind are interconnected. In this approach, physical symptoms are addressed because they may in fact signal emotional distress. Somatic therapists combine mindfulness, talk therapy, breathwork, yoga, dance, and physical manipulations of the body to help patients become more attuned to what their body is telling them.
Is EMDR a somatic therapy?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of somatic therapy, as it incorporates mental and physical principles. EMDR involves remembering a traumatic experience while allowing one’s eyes to track a side-to-side visual stimulus from a therapist. This lateral eye movement is believed to diminish the painful power of the memory so that it can be discussed with a therapist.
Is somatic therapy evidence-based?
Somatic therapy has been researched and studied, and some forms of somatic therapy are found to be effective in treating a wide range of conditions. Because somatic therapy encompasses many techniques, some, such as EMDR and meditation, have been studied more than others.
What is somatic trauma therapy?
Somatic trauma therapy is based on the idea that when people experience trauma, they can become stuck in the “freeze” part of a “fight, flight, or freeze” response. In this state, trauma can manifest itself both mentally and physically—through tension in the muscles, anxiety, and stress. Popular forms of somatic trauma therapy include EMDR, sensorimotor therapy, and somatic experiencing.
