Professional Services Group (PSG) provides individual, group, family, and couples therapy in Kenosha and Janesville for individuals struggling with a variety of mental health and substance abuse issues. We have therapists who work with clients as young as 4 years old, as well as adolescents, and adults. We are a trauma-informed practice that believes that it is our job to help clients reach their goals, on their terms.

I enjoy working with adults to aid in self-growth by working toward overcoming daily and life stressors, learning and breaking behavioral patterns, as well as anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. Through active listening and support, my treatment philosophy involves helping clients improve their well-being by processing, building self-awareness, and developing tools to cope and manage their issues and concerns. My empathetic nature helps clients build trust to focus on and work toward achieving their goals and building insight. I consider myself a LGBTQIA+ and sex worker- affirming therapist.

Hi, my name is Catherine Hetzel. I believe that clients are able to grow and heal when they are in a safe environment involving a trusting relationship with their therapist. My expertise is social skill-building, conflict resolution, and coping skill enhancement. Above all, I believe that therapy is a collaborative process between client and therapist, one in which client input is essential and in which clients’ bring their own unique skills and strengths to the therapeutic process.

I have over 16 years of experience working with children, individuals, and families who have wide range of clinical needs. I believe that therapy goals and techniques are based on the individual's and/or family's needs, and I meet them where they are at in their process of growth. I have many years of experience working with children (and families) who have Pervasive Developmental Disorders (Autism, and Asperger's Syndrome). I also have experience working with children and adults who present a variety of behavioral and mental health challenges. I enjoy facilitating groups on social skills, anger management, and various parenting topics.
