Now privileged to practice in Minnesota (LPC-MN-1005) and Ohio (LPC-OH-1006)! I love working with folks who feel they struggle to fit in or connect - people who don’t feel they have someone who "gets" them. I specifically enjoy supporting my fellow Autistic, ADHD, & AuDHD adults as we navigate a world not built for us. Maybe you feel like the black sheep of your family for some other reason, or are exploring the "real you" and feel nervous about how you will be accepted. I’m here to walk beside you in that journey! Additionally, I love working with women, parents, and those striving to live lives true to their core values.
I have 15 years of work with parents, practicing & refining our parenting skills together in both individual and group settings. I primarily work from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is less about decreasing symptoms and more about increasing LIVING. This foundation of therapy is so hopeful and freeing, and I love to share that with others!
It's curiosity and appreciation for the human experience that drives me as a therapist. Humans are so interesting! And being human gets really complicated. We tend to struggle most in relating to other humans and in understanding ourselves. Therapy with me centers around this idea: what is most personal is universal. You're welcome here!
