My work focuses on meeting my clients where they are and fostering a relationship that allows for the creation of a deep connection and a collaborative space where possibilities can be explored and change can happen. My non-judgmental, calm approach allows me to work well with a number of concerns including emotional & relational challenges, self-esteem/ self-identify work, depression, anxiety and other mood disorders. I help clients process and understand their underlying emotions, while building skill in a way that empowers them to not only see change while in session, but sustain it for a fuller and happier life.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist I'm trained to work with individuals in a way that views "problems" from a systemic perspective. Using this approach offers unique insight and opportunity for change; humans are relational beings, and even individual concerns must be viewed from a relational context in order to truly understand them.
If you're still unsure about whether or not therapy is for you, or if you just have some questions and would like to get to know me a little better, I invite you to reach out! I know how hard it can be to take that next step, so if a little chat would help you to feel more comfortable, feel free to give me a call, leave or send a message; I'd love to help!
