Whitney is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) and obtained a Master of Social Work from Morgan State University. She enjoy working with teens, adults, families, and couples in a wide range of ages. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, self-harm/ suicidal ideation, substance/ alcohol use, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder, developmental disabilities, and more. She enjoys working with LGBTQ+ clients including trans clients.
Whitney has experience in group work, chemical dependency, residential settings, and school settings in addition to extensive outpatient clinic experience. Whitney also has training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths based approaches, and dual disorders of substance use/ mental health.
