As one of four Certified Synergetic Play Therapists in the state of Alabama and an infant and early childhood mental health professional, my focus is helping caregivers and families. When parents and caregivers know how to regulate and cope with their emotions, they are better equipped to support the children around them as they face various challenges.

I have spent most of my career helping families: as a volunteer, a childcare worker, a teacher, and for the last twelve years as a counselor. And, most importantly to me, as a mom. If we the adults are not OK, how do we expect the children we care for and about to be OK? Come have a snack or grab a cup of coffee or tea, and we'll figure it out together.

I work with children ages 0-5 and their parents/caregivers who are facing challenges as a result of mental illness/disorder, domestic violence, trauma, developmental delays/disorders, or systemic issues.
