Hi, I’m Whitney — a Licensed Professional Counselor who’s passionate about helping people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. I’ve been working in the mental health field since 2017 and became licensed in 2022. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through life’s challenges, focusing on trauma, anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
I work primarily with adults (18 and up), but my experience began with adolescents — which taught me the importance of meeting people where they are and creating a safe, supportive space to explore emotions and experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership.
In sessions, I draw from evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and mindfulness practices to help clients build coping tools, process past experiences, and rediscover their strengths.
