Is your teen feeling down, anxious, or stuck? I specialize in treating anxiety and depression using compassionate, evidence-based treatments (IFS and EMDR and EFT for Couples). We will work together to decrease symptoms of anxiety or depression, move forward from stuck feelings or traumatic memories, improve relationships, and increase self-compassion. Ultimately we will rediscover your core self — who you really are when anxiety and depression take a backseat.
I am trained in IFS and EMDR to offer dynamic, experiential therapy. I have extensive experience working with adults and teens experiencing life transitions (moving, marriage, post-partum, parenthood, job changes). I also have training in treating survivors of online exploitation and childhood sexual abuse.
Anxiety and depression are often experienced in the context of our relationships. When possible, my goal is to work with the individual and their family or partner to work toward strengthening relationship dynamics in order to improve mental health of both the client and the entire family.
