I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. My areas of focus include eating disorders, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, relational issues and addictions. I have experience working with young adults, couples and families. I use a variety of modalities in my work, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and Relational Therapy. I work closely with you to determine the appropriate treatment modality and to deliver effective and supportive treatment. Please note that I only see clients aged 18 and above
I specialize in working with people who are struggle to regulate their emotions and turn to maladaptive coping. Sometimes, difficulty in regulating your emotion results in difficulties in relationships, such as poor communication and fighting. I use a behavioral approach to help you and those you love learn to communicate and manage emotions effectively.
I believe the most important factor in your progress in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. My focus is on building a trusting relationship that will allow you to feel safe, comfortable and able to address the problems and issues that are preventing you from leading a happy and fulfilling life.
