Welcome! My name is Whitney and I’m a psychotherapist who practices across the lifespan. I believe we are all doing the best we can to navigate day-to-day life and that we all hold the potential to experience more embodied and playful connections with ourselves and with others.
I hold a Masters of Social Work degree from Indiana University and am a Registered Drama Therapist/Board Certified Trainer through the North American Drama Therapy Association. I have been working with children, families and groups since 2009 in a variety of clinical settings.
I am a graduate of the Institute of Developmental Transformations and hold post-graduate training in Playback Theatre, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Family Systems, Psychodynamic/Developmental Psychology, Sandtray, SoulCollage, Women Writing for (a) Change CFLT, Trauma-Informed Yoga and Somatics.
Our personal histories with family, community and larger social systems are complex. They naturally leave an imprint on our current relationship patterns in ways that may make us feel stuck or fragmented. It is my aim to co-create a safe enough container where you may experiment with new possibilities and grieve what was lost or never received.
