I offer EMDR Intensives for athletes, coaches and leaders ready to overcome mental blocks, such as the yips, strengthen nervous system resilience and heal life and sports trauma, and navigate life transitions. I am EMDR Certified and an EMDR Consultant. To support EMDR therapy I also use attachment theory, IFS (Internal Family Systems) and include HeartMath, a science-based biofeedback in treatment. I help clients move out of survival mode and into clarity, confidence and connection. This isn't just mindset work; it's nervous system work- so you don't just think differently, your body feels and responds differently under pressure.
EMDR therapy and intensive treatment work with the body's natural way of healing, which can be blocked at times, to rewire memory networks and desensitize disturbing memories, feelings, body sensations. During the treatment, as the pain is taken away and the body releases stored trauma, the mind takes on new beliefs, rewiring your brain.
I believe in working together to create a safe, judgement free space in the therapeutic setting that is both relational and clinical. With over 20 years' experience working as a therapist, I have worked in community mental health, private practice and supervising graduate students during their practicum work. I offer individual EMDR sessions and Intensives.
